"Mexican psychological drama. Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's magic sparked in the early days. First installment in the critically acclaimed Death Trilogy. Later it transformed into 21 Grams starring Sean Penn, Naomi Watts and Benicio Del Toro and Babel starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. Same with this movie but better with the shaky camera close to the movements, interwoven complex stories intermingled with character development. I went into hoping for a performance by Gael Garcia but got amazed by the performance of Emilio Echevarria. Hyperlink narrative style of cinema structure along with social commentary about animal cruelty and crime and trauma. Must watch."
