"One hundred minutes of unoriginal superfluity that could have been all packed into a 15-minute short film and it would still not fly. Inauthentic characters resembling a parody version of a caper with Sci-Fi's most popular device couldn't be saved by a bunch of charismatic celebrities who took over the screen along with a fabulous Keith David who has, of late, been on a roll with his project choices. All this just to set up a franchise."
