Johnny Gaddaar

2007

🎯 Verdict

"(Un)Lucky swindler sinks deeper into a quagmire, Leitmotif in the form of golden age Bollywood songs, cats, recording paraphernalia, crooked cops, smuggling ring, remakes with ambitious reinvention and the one and only Zakir Hussain and Ashwini Kalsekar. All these track very seamlessly down the road all the way to Andhadhun. Neil Nitin Mukesh's debut movie (as an adult) has also his most terribly acted role which is a bummer since the rest of the cast is spot on. Too many back doors, literally, lead to plot convenience, which otherwise could have been a contender for a spot in the greatest ever Bollywood thriller list."
