"About a couple of old souls that long ago got left behind somewhere on this godforsaken rock where wild, wild flowers used to grow... This was back when Shia LaBeouf had us fooled that this woe is me act was just for the screen and in real life he was pretty well adjusted and a decent guy. Weirdly enough The Peanut Butter Falcon has the colors and themes of Mud with hints of early days Terence Malick in it while having the foundations of The Hunt for Wilder People, The Kings of Summer, Brigsby Bear and Leave No Trace."
