When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy.

"For a movie whose subject touches on morbid randomness, The Monkey is surprisingly funny at times. I guess when Stephen King couldn't recreate his past glory like that of Carrie, he embraced Hollywood's obsession with dolls, board games and toys. What's up with the recent proliferation of creepy-looking aunts and the ubiquitous nature of Elijah Wood associated with weird scripts!!!"
