After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island's animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose.

".... And here I thought the world might be too small for two Goslings. .... And an ark Noah would have been envious of. P. S. - While a part of me has always been sad that Roger Zelazny's For A Breath I Tarry was never put to screen, I am glad that The Wild Robot is as close to it as it gets."
