How come every time I watch a movie starring John Cusack, I like everything about that movie except for John Cusack? Even when being an ass which is rare for Jack Black, he still takes over the entire thing. Gotta be one of the most self-centred, juvenile and miserable characters I have ever come across. I always thought the way Barney Stinson always went from one chick to another, there's gotta be some sort of catch and I should have known the catch was in a movie released 5 years before since the beginning of that show. But, at least Stinson was having fun philandering all over the tristate area, Cusack is just intolerable and obnoxious in this one which is what they were going for, I guess, and he nailed it. Otherwise, everyone else was great. His sister was great. Tim Robbins was excellent. Zeta-Jones, phenomenal even with her guest appearance.
