"Born on The Fourth of July meets MKUltra. It's not at all hard to believe that the popular Reddit Lamp story and this one episode of Inside No. 9 have had their origin out of something that was three decades older than it was supposed to be. Tim Robbins, the perpetually traumatized man of Hollywood finds himself drafted as the Vietnam War version of The Manchurian Candidate. Although, the whole angel-devil-hell talk was a little too on the nose. It didn't require that much explaining about how an unreliable mind and the fragmented memories out of it creates a delirious reality plunging oneself into madness."
