🎯 Verdict
"True to its eponymous source, Prometheus sure attempts to scratch the itch of the intrigue but fails in its mission to add something, anything fresh and original to the existing lore. In fact, it tries to build a new one by going back to the creation myth in addition with expansive new tricks to the visuals, creating new layers of latest tech since it's been 14 years since the last installment in the franchise. But, alas! Instead of designing something much much bigger than mankind, it straightaway gets pressed right on the brim of the box by making it about surface-level concepts centering around the baser level functionalities associated with the human race and our age-old ambitions along with curiosities. All the while focusing on spreading the franchise with the help of soft reboots and spinoffs."
