2026 β’ Crime Thriller and Action-Drama β’ Netflix
Director: Joe Carnahan
Cast: Matt Damon , Ben Affleck
"Intense action thriller with enough testosterone-filled trust issues as well as gruff geniality in the form of brotherhood to blow the streaming platforms to kingdom come. It's been specifically curated for the audience who have aversion towards slow-burn thrillers, who rather take pleasure in high-pressured action movies where tension rises gradually until it all erupts. Like Matt Damon recently confessed- Netflix wants to make movies that could make the viewers not doze off or space out and instead subscribers could also take a peek at their phone screens; basically make us stay awake. Well, we lot got our perfect movie."

Praise be to Robin Williams, Will Hunting is still Good and the bonhomie is intact.
What could have gone the average-Triple Frontier way instead becomes a rip-roaring whodunit of an action thriller highlighting loyalty, integrity and treachery among brothers in arms, all inside a powder keg.
The Rip has Joe Carnahan written all over it powered by an intensifying score meant for a tense war-on-drugs movie specially curated for streaming platforms, with his long-term collaborator Clinton Shorter, but Carnahan doesn’t put all the cards to his chest and clumsily fills up the second and third acts with the familiar Hollywood plot points.
