The Fifth Element
"Too much noise. Too many colors. Too much flair. For all the visionary angles of Luc Besson in terms of megacity and world ending event in this cyberpunk dystopia or utopia, this movie couldn't come out of the usual equation of a hero being jolted out of his slumber and then some obstacles to retrieve some sort of stones and then bada bing bada boom, the world is saved. Gary Oldman was good though. So, multi-time pass."
Midnight Run
"Martin Brest's classic recipe of an unlikely relationship between a hothead and a softie while they are on a journey never gets stale, the same as Scent of a Woman. Somewhere in the midst of Raging Bull to The King of Comedy to Once Upon A Time In America to Angel Heart to The Untouchables and Goodfellas to Awakenings to Cape Fear to Casino to Heat, De Niro managed to squeeze this little lesser-known piece in his filmography."
Me, Myself & Irene
"Haven't had a laugh this hard in over a year. I have never been a fan of physical comedy much yet with a discordant and disjointed script with diabolical graphic imagery and unrestrained offensive language, this Jim Carrey movie has one of his greatest performance I have ever come across. We all have a Hank inside our psyche especially the region where I come from. Zellweger was adorable as usual. So, is it true when they say- This could never have come out now given the socio-political climate? Probably."

"One hundred minutes of unoriginal superfluity that could have been all packed into a 15-minute short film and it would still not fly. Inauthentic characters resembling a parody version of a caper with Sci-Fi's most popular device couldn't be saved by a bunch of charismatic celebrities who took over the screen along with a fabulous Keith David who has, of late, been on a roll with his project choices. All this just to set up a franchise."

"Plays like a tourism commercial for Paris with comedic relief sprinkled here and there. One positive aspect of this last movie of the trilogy is watching a young Hiroyuki Sanada doing his thing not knowing what the future prospects of his career would have in store for him."

"One of the best sequels a franchise could have come up with in the buddy cop genre. Even more unhinged, funnier, unfiltered than its predecessor and doesn't pull any punches. Chen and Tucker outdid themselves and this one exceeded in almost all measures compared to the first one. Then again, it's a Ratner movie."

Silly, fast, fun entertainment makes the statement- It's not yet over and there is still fuel left for the undead in the horror-comedy category. Except for the shoddy and ineffectually juvenile CGI, Cold Storage has a decent level of material in execution with a lovely chemistry between Joe Keery and Georgina Campbell. P.S.- Finally somebody says a yammering Keery to stfu and who better than Liam Neeson himself!!!"
