"Tatiana Maslany exudes both fear and terror in this horror thriller that plays like a story out of an Adam Neville novel. With psychedelic drowsy visuals and sudden bursts of loud intense sound design, this movie uses the done-to-death trope of couples retreat and cabin in the woods with desaturated colors and dim lighting fine but fails at scaling beyond the usual measures relating to backstories and the fundamentals of resolution attached to the purpose behind the whole thing.
