Sentimental Value
"Science Fiction's darling genre Big Dumb Object and Stephen King/Sherley Jackson style haunted house with secret history takes a subversive prop route to Big Soulful House that has witnessed it all through thick and thin for generations in this Joachim Tries drama about generational trauma, the kind that widens the fissure between a dad and a daughter.Imagine not being able to look in the eyes of your daughter and tell your side of the story or apologize, instead put all of it into a screenplay. Such a Norwegian thing to do."
