"Earnest. Sensible. Proportionate. Writer-Director Eva Victor's solemnly muted performance pays homage to Virginia Wolf and Nabokov. For a sensitive topic, it's a breath of fresh air to watch how unhurried and with measured humor Sorry, Baby was served. The pain and the trauma can be seen behind her eyes but not in a transparent sense often meant through discernible expressions. The discreet pressurized force of PTSD reminds me of Kenneth Lonergan's Margaret meets a softened version of I May Destroy You. Extra credits for casting John Carroll Lynch."
