"Like it's mentioned, that was FUBAR. All the original traits got shed, instead the usual routine of cure, quarantine, immunity, military regiments and the whole gaming mode got inserted. What other outcome in response were they hoping to receive post-release? But, gotta admit that subway scene was pretty good."

Long Bright River
"A show with a big and heavy heart that eulogizes the homeless and the addicts in the most genuine way possible, with grace. Wonderful portrayal of sisterhood, motherhood and father-daughter relationship as well as camaraderie while amidst all that Long Bright River doesn't betray the famous Detection Club and Ronald Knox's unofficial Constitution and it's ten Commandments for great detective fiction."

"Finally, something comes out of the hindi horror genre with a biting force so sharp that I don't see it letting go off me anytime soon. The clicking and rattling sounds will be in my brain for quite a while. This show is not propulsive rather takes its time; slowly, gradually boiling and bubbling with the unravelling of the layers. "These people have taken the old adage- 'It takes a village...' way too seriously and in a literal sense. Ana de Armas performs almost no elevé, pilé or relevé, instead shoots and slashes her way through with mostly unconventional weapons of choice in this decent enough spin-off that chooses flashy flair over tactical combat. Anyway, it's all getting very stale very quickly."

"Peacemaker and Bloodsport get into their usual wang measuring contest in a London Has Fallen rehash. The only believable thing in this was the misguided American star-spangled dreamer's optimism vs the British snobbery and pessimism due to its washed up power hangover over expired global hegemony."

"While the way this psychological horror carries itself, only the Japanese film fraternity could have turned such a basic function into an anxious nightmare that slowly unravels. But, it's uncannily similar to an episode of House."
Bring Her Back
"Disgusting, gnarly piece of horror relies solely on the tactile experiences of the characters as well as the auditory sense of the viewers so much so that one might require therapy to get over the whole experience. Be that as it may, still Bring Her Back remains inadequate in terms of fresh premise as it hits the usual trappings of trauma, loss, delusional obsession, disability, sibling dynamics, creepy disturbed kid, motherhood and extreme gaslighting. But, gotta admit the ending was rather subverting against the established norm which was rather refreshing to be honest. Hard to believe, Paddington lady herself playing a nutter."

"A locked-room horror with a purgatory theme that is representative of the device- "Jack in the box", where Jack can be anything from a clown to a ghoul or a giant masked man to a scary environment. Sounds intriguing, right? But, This is what happens when a studio commits too much to remain faithful to the skeletal, conceptual framework of the original game while ignoring the theme and be resistant to tweaking the premise and the characters. A shallow plot…"

"While scrounging whatever detritus leftover scraps available in the aftermath of the Phase-3 and the abysmal queue of tv series, The MCU tries to think out of the box, but, alas, got pressed right up against the inside brim of the said box. Initially, 40 minutes, Thunderbolts really attempts at something fresh, starts very calm, with repurposed score but it seems it was all a ruse or illusion to lure the audience into a familiar and usual formulaic arena, and…"

"The most fun I have had in the entirety of 2025 so far. This is what happens when one gets out of his own head, eyeing at Argylle which ironically also starred Bryce Dallas Howard with a somewhat similar plot. Even Orlando Bloom becomes spontaneous and effortless. Bloom is freaking mental in this one. Easily his career best performance. Nick 'Nate The Great' Mohammed, on the other hand continues fishing for approval and stays consistent with his Ted Lasso days. Laughed out loud multiple times."

"This franchise is so close to be in a crossover with The Equalizer. Nine years later, for some reason they decided to take Ben off the spectrum, shedding the suits and putting on a pair of khakis, while putting Bernthal on the spectrum, stealing the show."

Clown in a Cornfield
"To avoid being a baby formula in a bottle, instead it turns into a diet pill for slasher nerds. Except for the Elon-lookalike and that line- "We are all gonna be headless teenagers without heads." which was such a classic line from a stupid teenager with not a lot up there, nothing new here."

"What was going rather well and on multiple times felt like a little too well except I am not a big fan of the Sherlockian texts-on-surface style and the whole focus lights for this particular milieu, this clever mystery eventually took the familiar Hollywood thriller routine like that experienced previously in movies like- Red Eye, Flightplan, Phone Booth etc and recently Carry-On. Imagine if Landon had taken the classic Fincher path of Panic Room or the more minimalist yet effective…"
