"So scathing so harrowing that it kept me pissed off throughout the entirety of the docuseries and after watching it, at every institution there is for the safety and security of the general public. "We are officially way past the point of underlining again and again that Nic is Nuts. Carrying the torch from Mandy, Cage shows a tinge of the same weirdness here. A very Fincher/Pizzolatto (coincidentally with the same first name Nic) style crime mystery which crosses the line designated for thrillers out into the realm of straightaway psychological horror. I mean it's definitely not at par with Zodiac or Mindhunter or True Detective when it comes to its investigative elements but…"

"I mean it's no Free Solo and it would be even blasphemous to put this in the same sentence with that documentary but Fall made my acrophobia acting up with tingling feet and clammy palms, despite terrible and amateur performances. One cheerleader TikToker influencer type misguidedly states- "Life is short. Too short. You have to do something that makes you feel alive." And their first instinct ironically was- Let's make it shorter by climbing a 2000-ft-tall abandoned tower."
Twisters
"From Storm Chasers to Tornado Wranglers but with a Corporation vs Community angle, you know the current pop culture Zeitgeist. Passing Dorothy to the next generation. And by next generation I mean a bunch of cowboys from Yellowstone, hillbillies, a Superman without any superpower (at least not for now) and Miss Dandelion. Still it misses the mark by degrees in comparison to the original. Less about the twisters like the title suggests and more about trauma management. Starts as usual…"
Abducted in Plain Sight
"Either this guy knew the art of Jedi mind-trick or used some kind of enchantment spell. Anyway, so strange, so disturbingly strange that it was this close to become a documentary about some cult like Ant Hill Kids or Branch Davidians or Heaven's Gate. Although it was quite painful to watch, the whole thing felt like a cleansing or absolution for the elders. Every single one was at fault here except the victim. Bewildering, Infuriating and Horrific."
Twister
"Okay. Gotta admit, for a 90s movie which was all about spectacle, that was pretty good and thrilling. Then again, it's Jan de Bont we are talking about. Always wanted to watch something that had Philip Seymour Hoffman with the name Dusty and Bill Paxton with a character name, well, Bill. What this movie lacked in effects it tried to make up for with rousing metal score, like really really tried to an unbelievably maddening proportion and a 'tornadoes-outside-storms-inside' plot."
The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst
"One of those cases where the filmmaker does a much better job than the law enforcement. My only regret is that I watched that movie All Good Things before this, both of which funnily enough were directed by the same man and that might have desensitized the thrilling aspects for me a little bit."

"It's like after eating mushroom gummies and getting lost in the collective imagination of Gaspar Noé, Lars Von Trier and Ben Wheatley if they were really into Splatterpunk. Trippy labyrinth of euphoria-induced psychedelic art with EMDR Light Therapy. Cultish, Hypnotic, Gruesome and Acid Rock Heavy Metal yet funny at times. Overall, probably the most insane movie I have watched recently, maybe for as long as I can remember. Or did I just dream the whole thing?"
