A Fish Called Wanda

Straight into the first act within thirty minutes there were like five different product placements and five different old classic remixes and they didn't even try to be subtle about it."

"A cheap amalgamation and a hodgepodge of The Maze Runner, IT, Fringe the TV show and the more recent No One Will Save You with a dysfunctional found family in the mix. Say what you will, about those teenagers over there at The Glade, compared to these lemmings they seemed like The Losers Club. The smartest egg in the basket was the yellow bird. Mythology, folklore and legends meet Zoo Hypothesis, Fourth contact, shapeshifting and replacement. A shoddy screenplay with an excessively prolonged denouement that sets the stage for a possible series like that of the Eastrail 177 trilogy this time by Jr. Miss Shyamalan."
In a Violent Nature
"Just another typical plain day for Shudder. I never thought I would appreciate the surrounding greenery and foliage, sunrise and sunset on the horizon as well as howling breeze, birds chirping and insects trilling and screeching in the background more than the tracking shots following Jason, excuse me Johnny about to slash some damsel teenagers. Unconventional voyeuristic camera placements with weird jarring yet unsettling static wide-angled long shots. But, maybe the most shocking aspect here is how ironically funny it is at several places despite the grotesque violence."
Alone
"Same unoriginal worn-out thriller formula that has already been done to death. This whole trope of finding new-found respect for life by getting rid of something sinister from the world while overcoming past trauma has to go. Hollywood has reached its saturation point long ago."

"The Imperator Rises. Warrior mother's blood, Ben-Hur like chariots powered by 100 Horsepower radial aircraft engine motorbikes and sandstorms, all in one bottle. Also I never thought I would live to see Christian Grey sandwiched between Kristen Wiig and the Bridesmaids writer. And get this. Somehow Annie Mumolo comes off funnier than Wiig.
